As some of you may know, Saving the World is created, written and drawn by Tonicmole and in August he had an unexpected health scare. If this is new news to you, well do not fear he has made a quick recovery. Since that time, he has been back to work on Saving the World comics at his self-publishing imprint here at Tonic Comix “our home studio” full-time. The characters Lilly and Wepwawet from Saving the Universe #1 just got their own full comic via Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Shipping for that graphic novel primarily wrapped last week. It included a short story drawn by Mirage Studios legend, Jim Lawson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Planet Racers, Paleo) written by Tonicmole. This was our first perfect bound book and man is it beautiful!
The Tonic Comix team have been extremely excited to work with Jim Lawson. We are pleased to announce that issue #3 of Saving the World will be drawn by Jim Lawson and written by Tonicmole. With an extra Halloween short story written and drawn by Tonicmole. The main cover will feature art by the brilliant, Illustrator Monk and a "Kierra Victorious" Variant Cover by, Jim Lawson!
